About Miller Air Conditioners
Miller Air Conditioners has been in the air conditioner manufacturing business since 1919. In 1986, Nordyne bought the company and kept its name due to its reputation among builders. All Miller packaged AC units are made for outdoor installation.
Accordingly, outside components are enclosed in a galvanized steel casing that is corrosion-resistant. In addition, the units are generously insulated cutting heat loss and noise. Heat exchangers are heavy-gauge, aluminized steel for durability.
AC Warehouse stocks Miller High-efficiency air conditioners with a SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) ratings that start at 13 and go all the way to 16. The higher the SEER number, the more efficient the unit you have running.
Older AC units have SEER ratings of 10 or less. They are inefficient and costly to use. New Miller units have compatibility with gas, electric, and oil furnaces. Older units may not pay to repair and replacement of units with obsolete SEER ratings is often justified.

Miller Air Conditioning Maintenance
AC Warehouse urges that you have your AC tuned twice each year. Did you know that air conditioning running during the hottest summer weather works as hard as an automobile that travels one-hundred thousand miles – that is hard work. When the season is over, call us to arrange an appointment for a preventative maintenance visit. We schedule at your convenience.
We clean the coils and inlets to the outside part of the system. We check and tighten electrical connections, plumbing connections used in the system. We tighten and replace belts and parts that need lubricating get it. Technicians change air filters too.
During the maintenance of older units technicians occasionally uncover situations where replacement of the unit makes more sense than repair.
